Comments: Hey Alan, It was great to see you Saturday, and your Mom too, I hadn't seen her in over 20 years! Sorry I missed Mike though. I think your Mom was ready for me to take my motocrossing pictures and put them in the shredder. I can't say that I blame her. Having your life flash before your eyes or having someone tell you your kid probably won't make it through the night shouldn't happen to anyone twice. I can't believe that it took a catastrophic event in your life for us to get together for the first time since a Sunday Jam night at the tired old "Speakeasy Lounge" in 1984 (Remember, it was the night the redneck dude in the cowboy hat came up and put his cowboy boot through my bass drum when he came up to set in) That was also my last night of sacrificing my drum kit to a "Jam Night" (as much as I might have missed the free beer). We shouldn't wait that long to get together again. You and Mike have an open invitation to come and jam in my "backyard" studio anytime. I'll let you know when the Couch Doctors are playing Bricktown and hopefully you'll be up for a road trip by then. Well, try to take it easy!

Comments: I've been keeping up with your daily progress reports and it sounds as though the rehab your going through is almost as tuff as some of our old "Relay"gigs. Speaking of "Relay", I keep hearing these rumors about a reunion of some sorts. Now, I know one uses a exorcist to cast demons out, but once they're gone, how do you keep them from coming back? I think listening to the demons old demo tapes would just about do it.Rest easy my friend for there is nothing as sobering as a fifteen year old cassette tape played back through a bad pair of radio shack speakers.Especialy when the listener is void of any beer or mood altering drugs. Well, I'm glad thats settled......see you at the reunion.

You've been on my mind constantly. Thank goodness for your brother! Through his efforts I've tracked your continuing progress.
It sounds as though things are improving on a daily basis
lately, a distinct change from a couple of weeks ago. Hang
in there with your therapy, we all want to see you back in
the world as soon as possible. From the messages in your
guestbook it looks as though you have a lot of caring people pulling for old Al.
Well Al, I'm playing hooky from work to pen this, so must

Comments: Hey Al, Still keeping tabs on your rehab daily. Sounds like a real unpleasant experience. Glad to hear you are attacking it vigorously. I know you'll be back doing the things you love before you know it. Did you have any idea you had sooooo many friends and such a great brother. I think all the way back to the infamous "Twin Towers" Band, playing vicious hockey on the kitchen table and you and Mike scamming the neighborhood kids with your "Mr. Nimm" (or was it Dr. Nimm) game for a quarter a try. I'm sure it's great to know Mike will always be there for you and I'm sure the same can be said for you anytime he might face adversity.
